Building a million dollar fitness empire with butts
7 years ago, husband and wife trainers Kevin and Katie Lilly founded Bünda Fitness by combining StairMaster workouts with strength training. Bunda’s logo fittingly resembles a bikinied butt.
Since it’s founding, the company has grown from initial locations in Los Angeles to studios across Florida, Texas and Illinois. It has gained popularity from celebrities like Mindy Kaling, Addison Rae, Noah Beck, Olivia Culpo, Jada Pinkett-Smith and more.
The program focuses on the lower body 4 days a week. Each day is different. The lower body focus is intentional since it helps to drop body fat, gain lean muscle and increase toning.
Naturally supporting our body’s detox
Herbs and supplements like milk thistle, NAC, and sulforaphane enhance detox pathways, especially in people exposed to high levels of toxins.
Lifestyle practices like sleep, hydration and stress management maintain and enhance the body’s natural detox capabilities.
The liver is the body’s primary detox organ. It works to neutralize and eliminate harmful elements.
Supporting detoxification requires eating quality proteins, vegetables, antioxidants, fiber, and healthy fats. Proper nutrition helps to fuel the liver and assist with gut function.
Other systems like the gut, kidneys, lymphatic system, and skin help to eliminate toxins and support the overall detox processes.
6 questions ahead of Monday’s Boston Marathon
Can I take an Uber to Hopkinton? Yes but it will be expensive. Instead, consider taking a free bus from the Boston Common to the Athletes’ Village.
What’s the best way for spectators to cross Boylston Street on race day? It’s not possible.
Should I run in new or old shoes on Monday? If your old shoes are too worn out, grab a new pair. But run in them first! There are plenty of 5K shakeout runs on Saturday or Sunday to help you.
Can I run in another wave or corral? You can move back, but not up. You can shift to a later wave or corral (higher-numbered ones) if needed, but not to the first corral of a later wave.
Why isn’t there a bag drop at the start? It would be nice, but in reality, it would turn Marathon Monday into a logistical nightmare. The only things you can take with you to the start are items you’re willing to discard or that you plan to carry during the race.
How far should I go for my final long run? It is up to you. Typically 12km–20km is a good distance.

High protein ice cream
Two Spoons Creamery serves high protein, zero-sugar, GLP-1-friendly ice cream.
If this sounds too good to be true, the story behind it is just as surprising. The Company was co-founded by Rich Ferreira and Gabe Zichermann, ex-boyfriends who remained friends after their breakup. While a romantic relationship did not work for the co-founders, developing healthy ice cream together did.
Two Spoons ice cream contains 30 grams of protein and is sweetened with allulose, a low-calorie sweetener that naturally stimulates the release of GLP-1. Flavors include Rocky Road, Strawberries & Cream, Caramel Swirl and Fudgy Brownie.
3 energizing breakfasts
Whether you’re going for a long run or cruising into a recovery day, here are 3 breakfast recipes that combine carbs and protein while tasting like food you want to eat.
Blueberry baked oats (pre-run fuel that won’t sit like a brick): A slightly sweet baked oat dish from Rise & Run. With complex carbs, natural sugars and just enough fat to slow the release of energy, it’s a great dish to eat 1 or 2 hours before a long effort.
Strawberry chia yogurt parfait (for the run days that sneak up on you): This is good for one of those “I only have 10 minutes” mornings. A fresh, make-ahead parfait that is hydrating, light and energizing, which is perfect for short runs or easy recovery days. Switch it up with fresh or frozen berries of your choice.
Sweet potato protein pancakes (post-run rebuild with actual flavor) Protein-rich pancakes that can change how you feel after a hard workout. Sweet potatoes bring potassium and slow carbs, while eggs and Greek yogurt help rebuild muscle.
