Why Run? 

Founded by avid runner, Phil Dumontet in 2017 with the vision to start a world-class marathon in Boulder via a a never done before downtown format. Phil produced the first edition in 2021 with 1,600 runners and last year the event drew 7,000 runners making it one of the fastest growing marathons in the country.
