On Friday, Anant Ambani married Radhika Merchant. Attendees included Kim and Khloé Kardashian, Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra as well as former politicians Tony Blair and Boris Johnson.

The wedding was estimated to cost $600 million. Where did the $600 million com from? The Ambani’s wealth originated when Anant’s grandfather founded Reliance Industries in 1958 as a small venture firm trading spices and polyester yarn. 66 years later, Reliance Industries generates over $8 billion in annual profits and is run by Anant’s father, Mukesh, who’s personal net worth is estimated to be over $120 billion.

Whether or not you were in attendance at Anant’s wedding, here are 3 ways to use it as motivation.

Think big: Reliance industries was started by Anant’s grandfather, who thought big. Last year, the business generated $109 billion in revenue and $8.4 billion in profits. Whether or not we are starting multi-billion dollar companies, we can all benefit from thinking big.

Prepare ahead of time: The wedding took 7 months of preparation including a Hindu priest consulting astrology to determine the most favorable date for the ceremony, invitations to a sizeable guest list and elaborate attire, including the dress of Anant’s mother Nita, which took artisan’s 40 days to handcraft. The Ambani family didn’t simply show up and wing it. Whether or not we are planning a $600 million wedding, we can all benefit from preparing ahead of time.

Celebrate with others: Anant and Radhika didn’t celebrate just the 2 of them, they invited people from all over the world so that they could share their marriage celebration with thousands of others. The Ambani’s didn’t limit their celebrations to this weekend. Instead, they celebrated throughout the year by hosting an engagement party, a communal dinner for more than 50,000 villagers and a private 1,200-guest pre-wedding bash — attended by Mark Zuckerberg, Bill Gates, Ivanka Trump and other celebrities — that featured a live performance by Rihanna. Whether or not we are attending lavish weddings, we can all benefit from celebrating with others.
