Ice Spice is Not Taking Ozempic

Ice Spice recently shut down rumors that she used Ozempic to lose weight when she shared that she instead lost weight by working out, eating healthier and being active on tour.

Rumors that Ice, a four-time Grammy nominee, may have been taking Ozempic, the Type II diabetes drug, started surfacing a few weeks ago when she posted pictures on Instagram of herself dressed in an all-black hoodie and leggings, showing that her waist was visibly smaller.

Whether or not you listen to Ice Spice, here are 3 ways to use her recent comments as inspiration.

Most improvements don’t come from a magical pill: Just because somebody gets results, a magical pill usually is not responsible for the improvements. More often, hard work and other actions that take place behind the scenes produce these results. Similar to Ice’s weight loss resulting from a healthy lifestyle, we could all benefit from understanding that improvements don’t come from a magical pill.

Don’t worry about comments from uninformed people: Ice Spice was accused of taking Ozempic by people who had no idea about her situation. They did not know if she was taking the drug or not. Similar to Ice, we could all benefit from not putting stock in comments that come from uninformed people.

We are all human: As popular as Ice is for her music, she deals with similar daily challenges of being a human that we all face. She must eat nutritious foods and exercise so that she can live a healthy lifestyle. Similar to Ice, we could all benefit by remembering that we all face similar challenges as humans.

Thank you Ice Spice. Let’s have a great week!
