Here are 5 tips to help you stay comfortable and perform at your best, no matter what the weather throws at you.

1. Running in the Heat: Stay Cool and Hydrated

Running in the heat can be tough, but with the right approach, you can make it through safely and even enjoy it.

  • Hydrate, Hydrate, Hydrate: Make sure you’re drinking water before, during, and after your run. The heat can quickly lead to dehydration, so staying hydrated is key.

  • Wear the Right Gear: Opt for lightweight, moisture-wicking clothes that keep sweat off your skin. This helps you stay cooler and prevents chafing.

  • Time Your Runs: If you can, try to run in the early morning or later in the evening when temperatures are lower.

  • Protect Your Skin: Sunscreen is a must! Apply a sweat-resistant sunscreen to shield your skin from harmful UV rays.
